Medical Providers

zh2 Medical ProvidersApproved In Home Care provides non-medical home healthcare and service providers for seniors. Ask yourself these questions:

• Are your senior patients calling your office for help with problems you can’t solve?

• Missing appointments because they can’t get a ride?

• Not complying with their prescribed medication regimen?

• Going in to the hospital and need help packing and getting there, or someone to sit with them at the hospital?

• Leaving the hospital or rehabilitation and need some extra help at home while recuperating?

Approved In Home Care can help.

Approved In Home Care provides the dignified, non-medical homecare support your senior patients need to remain independent, safe, and healthy in their own homes. Our Personal Care Assistants can make sure your patients get to their appointments on time and maintain good hygiene and health habits.

Every Approved In Home Care Home Care Assistant is extensively screened, insured and bonded to ensure that our clients receive the highest quality homecare from trustworthy, experienced professionals. While our non-medical homecare services are not covered by Medicare or Medicaid, we will work with your patients’ long term care insurance providers and family members to help them get the extra help they need to live healthier, more meaningful lives.

Our senior caregivers can help maintain your patient’s overall health and well being, assist with nutritious meal preparation, and encourage compliance with recommended diets and lifestyle changes. We’ll also monitor and note any behavioral or physical changes which might indicate a shift in a patient’s condition or mental state.

We provide CAN’s and senior companions for patients in the hospital as well. If your patient needs one-on-one attention for safety and wellbeing while hospitalized, we provide excellent hospital sitter services. Our specially trained Alzheimer’s caregivers can assist patients with dementia who may have an especially difficult time during hospitalization and poor safety awareness. We also offer a Transitions of Care program for patients to ensure safe hospital discharge.

Is this non-medical homecare service covered by Medicare?

While Medicare does pay for skilled medical home health care, it does not provide lengthy visits, or provide a caregiver for long periods of time in the home. Often, patients need supplemental non-medical services beyond what Medicare provides to stay safe and healthy. The Medicare company and Approved In Home Care can coordinate their schedules to provide patients with optimum service, and not duplicate each other’s efforts.
